Rush BIO

Rush is a legendary Canadian rock power trio formed in Toronto in 1968, consisting of Geddy Lee (bass, vocals, keyboards), Alex Lifeson (guitar), and the late Neil Peart (drums, lyrics; 1974–2015). Renowned for their virtuosic musicianship and complex progressive rock compositions, Rush is considered one of the greatest rock bands of all time. The band is set to perform at the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati on October 23, 2026, marking their first tour since the R40 Live 40th Anniversary Tour in 2015. This reunion tour, titled Rush Reunion Tour 2026–2027, will feature drummer Anika Nilles filling in for the late Neil Peart.

The band's extensive discography includes classic albums such as 2112, Moving Pictures, and Signals, with top songs like Tom Sawyer, Limelight, and The Spirit of Radio. Fans can expect an electrifying live performance characterized by elaborate stage production, including massive video screens and complex lighting rigs. The passionate fanbase, often referred to as 'Rushheads', contributes to a vibrant atmosphere during concerts.
